When I first had the idea to do a Jane Austen blog, I knew I would have to do something to make it stand out from all the other (wonderful) Jane Austen blogs already out there. I puzzled over what this difference should or could be for awhile: what will make this blog unique?
And then I thought, what about me! What will make Austentatious unique is the unique perspective that I bring to Jane Austen. This is a blog that will discuss Jane Austen's life and work, as well as other works based on or inspired by the above, with fresh excitement and frank admiration, with a dash of humor. It is an outlet for my love of all things Austen. I hope you enjoy it!
I would also love to do a Jane Austen podcast, since as far as I can tell, there isn't one yet, at least not on iTunes. This will depend not so much on potential audience as my obtainment of the right equipment and inspiration for topics, and possibly a co-host or two...
